ios - Setting "Build Active Architectures Only" To "YES" Pros vs Cons? -

i understand setting value yes speeds building time. far know setting option "yes" build connected device's architecture.

so if had connected older device such iphone 3gs (armv7) release build should work on armv7, armv7s , arm64.

but happens if release iphone 5 (armv7s) connected while "build active architectures only" set "yes" ? can assume build work on armv7s , arm64, work on older devices has armv7?

yes, don't think apple let submit app way, if distribute in other ways, won't work on older devices... that's why it's set yes debug , no release
