Generating Google Documents from Google spreadsheet data source -

i'm wondering what's right way create google document using google spreadsheet data source. googled while , resource found explanation (http://opensourcehacker.com/2013/01/21/script-for-generating-google-documents-from-google-spreadsheet-data-source/), of google app script. there (easy) way?
